What it's like
One of the chain of netted baths along the western shore of Botany Bay, smaller than its neighbours at Brighton-le-Sands and Ramsgate. Unlike some of them, the water stays a good swimming depth through most of the tide, so timing matters less here.
When to go
Any calm day; avoid swimming for a few days after heavy rain.
Getting there and facilities
Buses along the Grand Parade stop close by. Facilities at the baths are basic.
Good to know
There are no lifeguards.
