What it's like
The baths take in a small beach and a stretch of calm Middle Harbour water, tucked below the bush-covered slopes of Northbridge. It is a quiet, local spot for a swim, very different from the busy eastern beaches.
The baths opened in 1924. Willoughby Council celebrated their hundredth anniversary in 2024 with a Welcome to Country and a 1920s-style swing band.
When to go
Summer weekdays and early mornings are quietest. Avoid swimming for a few days after heavy rain.
Getting there and facilities
The baths are at the end of Widgiewa Road, Northbridge. Check Willoughby Council's page for current facilities and hours.
